And Also Who We Aren´t
We´re a small group of Portuguese and not-Portuguese with an interest in good food and drink, sharing what we find here, with no expectation that anyone will read it. This is not a website created for your wealthy friends. Do not send it to them. They won´t like it and they will make the other tasqueiros annoyed. It´s a place to share where we can still find good food and drink at prices that don´t make you scream. Portugal is not inexpensive. Not much is anymore. But we can talk about quality tascas and wines that are surprisingly good compared to their more expensive competitiors. That is all. Let´s see.
(Don´t be a jerk and rant about tourists in Portugal. That is for Reddit and Facebook. Reward the tascos who aren´t tripling their prices by visiting them, leaving a good review, and adding them to these lists.)
Este site não foi feito para os teus amigos ricos. Não lhes envies. Não vão gostar e vão irritar os verdadeiros apreciadores de tascas. É um espaço para partilhar dicas de boa comida e bebida a preços que fazem sentido. Portugal não é barato. Aliás, hoje em dia pouca coisa o é. Mas há tascas de qualidade e vinhos surpreendentemente bons — só precisas de saber onde procurar.
